You may know him because he owns the Dallas Mavericks (NBA team) and is a main investor on Shark Tank (NBC).

Knowledge.
If you’re going to be in business, you have to know your industry and what you’re talking about. If you don’t know much, you can’t improvement much.
Sales.
Everyone is selling something. You’re a writer? Cool, you sell your writing. You sell you. You’re the brand here. How can you improve your brand?
“Treat your customers like they own you. Because they do.”
In your case it may be your audience.
You’re not doing this for you. If that were true, you’d have a personal, private blog.
You’re doing this for an audience. So treat them like gold.
“I don’t care what anyone says. Being rich is a good thing.”

Freedom, security and the ability to be incredibly generous.
Building wealth isn’t a bad thing. You can take care of yourself, your family and your community when you’re wealthy.
